About me
As the GOL, (God of Laughter) I like to run my games with a dash of humor, a sprinkle of satire even. Players who are witty and clever with their quips will be rewarded greatly! I also love large numbers, (The DOPAMINE!) so I run special crit rules that let you go even higher in damage than EVER thought possible! If you're interested in highly detailed, gritty, and fantasy-science hybrid campaigns then give me a shot and I promise it won't miss! The current campaign I'm running is called "Whispers from the Abyss" it takes place in the realms of Diablo, on the plane of Sanctuary. After the events of Diablo 3, but before Diablo 4. A mysterious Dark Mage has appeared after the barrier protecting the realm was worn thin and destroyed. Now this new threat plague's the lands and the only ones who can stop him are the heroes and Heroines chosen throughout the Multiverse by the call of an ancient horn. Will you answer the call, and aid sanctuary in its time of need?
GM Style
My style is a solid mix of Role-playing and combat, and my combat style is somewhat hardcore, my campaign being Diablo based and themed mean party's will face hordes of enemies, to balance this I've added many homebrew rules such as stacking advantages (and Disadvantages), stacking temp HP, special crit rules to hit higher amounts of damages, ally systems, pet systems (Essentially Pokémon), Soul Contracts, Devil Fruits, Homebrew Feats and MUCH MUCH more! My campaign is Multiversal meaning you can be anyone from anything simply converted into 5e Stat block! I run rule of cool so long as it's not abused, and I love taking time to build homebrew items and class features to tailor to your play style! I hope you'll give me a shot an I promise not to miss!

World Builder
I've been playing with GOL for the last few months and what can I say that hasn't been said by my fellow players so far. The amount of detail that has been put into every interaction we have engaged in as our character is astounding. If there is some hairbrained idea that you think wouldn't be possible can be made real in the worlds that he creates. He ensures that everyone is able to have opportunities to attain power and allows your character to become the epic hero of the story or the villain if that is your desire. You will never get bored in his world as there are so many things that can be done that makes the world really lived in. You couldn't find a better DM if you tried.
Invested, creative, and willing to work with everyone. I've had a few bad experiences with dms. Laughter frankly changed my perception of Dnd for the better. We had a lot of fun and he was willing to accommodate my changes to the world at large which was just incredible. The feeling of having a genuine and permanent impact in a world is unparalleled and why the freedom of dnd is so appealing to me personally.
What's up gamers. No bush beating here, Laughter is the real deal. Rule of cool reigns supreme with this man, and his chill defines the game. If you have a cool idea and want to play around with it (as long as it's not hella disruptive to the rest of the party), Laughter will take that and run. I kid you not, for our game, this dude not only wrote his own campaign in THREE acts, but decides that the first act isn't good enough, and rewrites it from scratch, totally around 4,000 words. He's also writing like 4 more acts, and has other campaigns in the works. That's commitment. Laughter also has a bunch of really neat custom content that works seamlessly with your expected 5e experience. His fully realized allies/pets/companions system is brilliant and inventive, and unlike many other systems doesn't bog down combat. Speaking of combat, it's personally my favorite of the three pillars, and his combats are showy, fun, visceral, and make me feel like I'm actually there. I love his descriptions, and it feels like a real challenge. He also infuses really cool and completely unique magic items into the world for us to find, and each session feels like something new is around the corner. I started off in this campaign playing an Echo Knight Fighter and (no offence, Matt Mercer) it honestly wasn't really what I was expecting. Sure it was powerful, but not very tactically satisfying. When I wanted to switch to a Barbarian with a Ghostfire Gaming subclass after a couple sessions, Laughter found a wonderful way to weave that into the story and made the transition seamless for me and for the other players. Although I love combat, I'm a huge RP dude as well, and I always feel immersed in the world with interesting and varied characters. If you want romance, he's got that too, and doesn't make it weird. I always leave games wanting more, and looking forward to the next session the following week. All in all, Laughter's a chill dude, a passionate person, a phenomenal GM, and in the weeks I've known him, a good friend. 11/10 would recommend. You will have a good time, I promise.
I have been playing with Laughter as my DM for several months now and have enjoyed 80+ hours of gaming and content that Laughter has provided our group. They have been full of detailed descriptions, stories and potential options in types of interactions or playstyles. The atmosphere is usually kept upbeat and lighthearted, Laughter isn't just a name. Engaging in jovial in-character banter or comedic timing during roleplay is encouraged and rewarded. Laughter also has the capacity to depict and engage in more serious topics and aspects of the game just as fluently. Laughter seems to be very prepared for many options but also seems to react very well in "impromptu" conditions. I engaged in a quest to find a lost child and they turned into a potential combat ally, depending on my characters decisions and abilities. After all this time I have no complaints to Laughter as a DM, only praise. Laughter draws from a personal extensive background of fantasy knowledge to create a reality to play in. I would highly recommend contacting Laughter to see if you can join an adventure!
