For me, roleplaying games are about shared stories. I build player-driver campaigns where players have room to shape the story through their characters, decisions, and dice rolls. How Garrett B. runs games

My DM style is welcoming and beginner-friendly, with a focus on helping players jump right in and enjoy the stories we create together. I'm always happy to explain rules, offer guidance, and answer questions without pressure or judgment. I encourage new players to make exciting choices during the game and allow the rules to be more supportive than restrictive to creative ideas during games. Combat is tactical and engaging, roleplay is responsive to player's interests, and curiosity and clever thinking are always rewarded at my tables. I make sure to explain rulings clearly, keep things moving during play, and ensure the rules are supportive tools to fun, rather than obstacles. When I run official modules, I adapt the game to the player's choices and character's backgrounds. I want my players to feel like they are epic heroes at my table, while also creating a comfortable, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels included, confident, and excited to keep playing.
