About GM Andrew
For nearly a decade, I've been running high-quality games for both kids and adults. I run an after-school gaming club for teenagers, so I'm used to introducing games to new players. I'm always open to trying new systems, and my preference is to let players and story drive sessions. Whether you're a beginner, a natural performer, someone looking to stretch themselves, or someone just looking to have some fun, my table is for you! I promote roleplay-driven experiences that reward social interaction and creative problem-solving.

How GM Andrew runs games
I favor roleplaying and character/story development over "crunchy" strategy and combat. I am open to whatever tone players prefer -- we can keep things "serious" or get completely wacky!

I deal with rules issues by...
...making a ruling and then checking after the session. I don't want questions about rules to get in the way of roleplay.
GM Andrew's ideal table
Players who want to roleplay and be immersed in the game will fit well at my table. I prefer it when players focus on crafting interesting characters and playing in-character rather than trying to metagame, min/max, or "win". I also do my best to balance play time -- if you're someone who struggles to speak up, I might push you to do more, and if you're a natural roleplayer who tends to hog the spotlight, I might ask you to step back and let give others time to shine.

I love it when a player
actively roleplays and tries to stay in-character as much as possible. That, to me, is what separates TTRPGs from board games or war games.
My table is not the place for...
...too much out-of-character chatter. While I don't mind the occasional witty remark, and I'm certainly willing to dialogue with players and answer questions (especially with beginners), I find that I have more fun (and the players accomplish more!) when the priority is playing the game itself.
