About Hugo

Looking for an experienced Game Master to level up the your gaming experience? You've come to the right place. I have crafted my Game style over the last 14 years, dedicated my life to crafting immersive and engaging stories, teaching new players, and giving my players respite from the tediousness of the real world. We come to the table to get lost in new worlds, for a chance to escape our problems if only for an evening. Running tabletop games is my passion, and I look forward to improve my skills and expand my knowledge with each and every one of my players. All you need for my games is alchemy from alchemyrpg.com My games are brought to life through music, voice acting, and everyone of you that has ever joined one of my games. I'm constantly looking for a better way to run online games, and I thank all of you for joining me on this journey.

I ran my first game...

in 2012, while I was still in high school. We played pathfinder back then because it was the new system at the time. TTRPG's have been a huge part of my life since then, I never looked back from being the forever GM. The role of game master was made for me.

I started running games because...

I've always been a story teller. I tried writing books but they would always come out sounding like screen plays. That's what made TTRPG's the perfect fit for me. I can set the scene and let my actors(the players) experience something I made. Which gives me a whole lot of joy.

My favorite shows/movies are

I love horror. Gothic horror, Cosmic horror, my homebrew games show this off, taking inspiration from movies like "the color out of space" and "The thing". I also love watching superhero movies as well as anything Sci-fi or fantasy/medieval in my free time.

How Hugo runs games

Rules as written with a slight lean towards the rule of cool. I'm fast and loose with rulings I'm not super familiar with. anything to keep the flow of the game moving. As a once aspiring voice actor, I'm not nervous about doing character voices and accents during my games. I usually try to make combat quick and painless so that we can focus on telling a story. For more information on my past and present as a Game Master. you can check out my Youtube channel in the social link at the bottom of this page.

My games focus on...

Roleplay, Choices with consequences, and open exploration. You as the player, will make dozens of decisions every session, I like using those decisions to shape my worlds into something of your creation.

Rules are...

Guidelines for the most part. I don't hold them as gospel, but I do intend to follow most of them while running my games.

Hugo's ideal table

If you are interested in RP, Mysteries, Decoding languages, and fighting horrific creatures of the night; Then you will fit right in.
