Ben does a wonderful job fostering a good space! Telling a story within the One Piece world together has been a joy thus far. They've also been very patient with me as well, this year hasn't been the kindest to me! You should definitely give them a shot! They do good work!

Ben knows a lot and when he doesn't know a setting, he does his research. He has a huge passion and drive for his games and the settings they are in. He gets excited and enthusiastic about the game, and he'll always make sure you know when he's updated the game. His NPCs are really unique, and with the world, how they intertwine tells a story.

Ben’s always really good with working with a player to integrate them into the world! He’s also good at meeting with people where they’re at and clearing up misunderstandings should they come up.

Ben has been a great dm really helping me live out the dream story and narrative all while keeping it fun and telling a story that pulls you in.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Ben as my GM! His creativity brought the world to life in vivid detail, making every post he makes feel immersive and exciting. He was incredibly helpful when I was creating my character, offering insightful guidance while letting me bring my unique ideas to the table. One of the things I appreciate most is how he answers every question with a speed and knowledge that’s truly impressive—he always has the perfect response right when you need it. I'm hooked and can't wait to see where this adventure with Ben leads! His profile and games initially caught my attention, but it’s his personality that really won me over. During our session zero, he took the time to answer all my questions and helped tailor a game that incorporated my interests while respecting any limits or concerns I had. I’m currently playing a duet play-by-post Warcraft game with him. Ben’s deep knowledge of the world lore and game system is really special, and he gives me all the information I need to feel confident in my role. In-game, he makes an immersive experience with photos and descriptions, while integrating my character into the story. His NPCs look to my character for decisions, making me feel like a vital part of the adventure. As of writing this, we’ve had three sessions (about three weeks) and we've already written 12 pages together—yay! Ben keeps the game moving with daily posts, sometimes even surprising me with more than one. He’s responsive throughout the week, patiently addressing questions, comments, and concerns, and engaging in friendly game-related conversation. This makes the experience feel interactive and shows that Ben loves what he does. His style is engaging, with plenty of opportunities for social interactions and exploration. He uses every dice roll, whether high or low, to propel the story forward in a satisfying way. I’ve never felt cheated or punished, even with a bad roll. The four-star rating is due to the writing style. Currently, there are inconsistencies in the narration—sometimes my character is referred to in the third person, while at other times, the second person is used. This happens often enough to be pretty jarring. I understand that Ben prefers to write in the second person while the player writes in third instead of first. Since I’m not a fan of that style, we agreed to both write in third person. This has led to occasional perspective shifts in his writing, sometimes within a single post. I think this could be improved with an extra reread before posting, but I do appreciate him trying to accommodate me. This shouldn't be a concern for anyone who shares his pov preferences. Overall, I really appreciate Ben’s hard work and hope we can continue this campaign for many more pages to come. :) If you’re looking for a fun and engaging game, I highly recommend playing with him!
