An important part of the Game, that can help give you a bit of guidance on how to do things in a game and experience a setting. I use various Homebrew Rulesets to help provide immersive experiences in a setting. But as long as something is plausible within the rules and lore of a setting, it is ok.
GM Ben's ideal table
My table consists of a custom unique Discord Server set up for the players and I that is a safe and friendly environment meant to be a fun place where friends can tell unique and fun stories together in their favorite fandoms and settings. The Server has things neat and organized and easy to access and find things in, so that the players can reliably look up things and enjoy their time reading things over. When it comes to what players fit well at my table/games, preferably those that are patient and understanding when it comes to my irl Autism and some of my struggles with text that come up. Having fun is important for both DM and Player, and it's important to be supportive and friendly and understanding for each other. I try to provide a great friendly experience and vibe to my tables that is welcoming for all regardless of skill level or knowledge level for a setting, and I expect the same sort of kind and supportive treatment from my players to me.
