About me
Hello there! My name is Stevie and I have been GMing Dungeons and Dragons 5e for about four years. I am a white, queer trans man with disabilities who is passionate about inclusion and equity in TTRPG spaces! I love hosting games because I love collaborative storytelling, creative problem solving, and the general sense of community that comes with a solid session of D&D. I am an advocate of using safety tools in all games and I am practiced in doing so. I take the safety of the players at the table very seriously and I prioritize player wellness above all. These games are only fun if everyone is having fun, and I am committed to making sure everyone has space to have fun or to share when they need something to change! Please let me know if you have any questions. I can't wait to adventure with you. :)
GM Style
My GM style is a balance of combat (40%) and roleplaying (60%). I do character voices of varying quality but always high commitment! I strongly believe in collaborative storytelling-- players are story-tellers, too! I prefer to GM as a conversation between myself and the players, not a "GM versus players" situation. I'm flexible, creative, and prefer to have humor hand in hand with the more serious moments. If you have any more questions, please let me know!

Storytelling
Stevie is incredible! We're coming up on the one-year mark for our current campaign in the Ravenloft setting. We came together mostly as strangers through r/lfg, and Stevie did SUCH a good job in Session 0 laying the necessary groundwork for a safe and fun horror-based campaign. Stevie also sets a great horror-adventure tone, but he also goes along with us when we want to have light-hearted moments. I would really recommend Stevie for big groups too. We have a group of six players who all have lots of thoughts all the time and Stevie really makes sure all players can contribute when they want to. He seeks out and responds to the desires each player has for their character and makes the game/campaign work for the concept the player has. He's sensitive to the boundaries you work out beforehand about your character too. He works to make sure that everyone has plenty of moments, big and small, that let their character shine. He encourages everyone to participate in RP, and he's very effective at prompting us to interact within the party in new or meaningful ways. Stevie's also very punctual and reliable, and at the same time quite flexible with the group -- especially considering there are so many schedules to coordinate. Really cannot recommend him enough!
