About Joan

A male DM with over 8 years of experience that also happens to be a furry. Creating worlds and stories has been one of my passions for a very long time and I consider myself fairly good at it, I pride myself in always finding a way to solve problems and finishing every campaign I have ever started!

I got started GMing...

Because I love creating worlds, and I think creating an epic story with friends is more fun than doing it alone.

People are always surprised when I tell them

That D&D 5e and 2024 being broken and somewhat incomplete systems is part of what makes them so fun.

How Joan runs games

Been GMing for a very long time, which means I rarely settle for the usual vanilla stuff, I love high level campaigns and delivering long campaigns that go all the way from newbie adventurers to world savers! I love homebrewing things, you will get lots of homebrew magic items and fight all kinds of weird things that don't appear in any book.

I once ran a session...

For 24 hours straight! Wouldn't mind doing with you as well.

My games focus on...

How your characters interact with the world and on you trying to find ways around overarching plot lines and problems.

Rules are...

Important but I can be rather flexible with them if they are used in creative ways to make more fun scenarios.

Joan's ideal table

I like players that are not only invested into the world, but also character creation and its mechanical intricacies because I put a lot of effort into making your character unique.
