Howdy! I’m Joseph, and I’ve been immersed in the world of RPGs for over eight years, with the last four dedicated to full-time DMing for 5th Edition. Storytelling and world-building are my passions, and while I sometimes dive into modules that spark my interest, my true focus is on creating unique, collaborative narratives with my players. I firmly believe that TTRPGs are not about a DM presenting their story, but rather about the DM and players working together to craft something memorable, meaningful, and—of course—fun! And don’t worry, humor is always at the table. We can enjoy serious, immersive roleplay, but it’s essential to balance that with moments of lightheartedness and laughter. One of the core tenets of my DMing style is that I finish what I start. There’s nothing worse than an unfinished story, so I strive to see every campaign through to a satisfying conclusion. With me as your DM, you’ll experience the “rule of cool” in full effect. The players are the stars of the story, and sometimes, that means we bend the rules. Whether it’s bending RAW (Rules As Written) or even RAI (Rules As Intended), if something enhances the story or creates an epic moment, we’ll run with it. After all, this game is about creating memorable experiences, not getting bogged down in technicalities. At the heart of my philosophy is the desire to make players feel like superheroes. I love giving out magic items and bonus feats to make your characters shine—but that also means you’ll face equally epic challenges. In my games, the stakes are high, and the threats are just as powerful as the heroes. GM Style

Players who will get the most out of my games are those who can embrace both the serious and the silly, because that’s exactly my style. Whether it’s a goofy character voice or a more serious, grounded one, everything has a place at my table. I don’t believe in forcing combat on players. While combat is always an option, it’s never the only one. This naturally makes my games more focused on roleplay and story, though combat, when it happens, is always dynamic and engaging. I’m also a huge fan of weaving character backstories into the heart of the campaign. So, don’t be shy about bringing lots of details! If you’d like to talk through any ideas or even bring an existing character into the game, I’m always open to a conversation. Ultimately, my goal is to create an environment where your character’s journey truly matters. Whether you're laughing in a lighthearted moment or facing off against a deadly foe, your story will be at the core of the experience!
