About Erikorn
Hey everyone, I'm Erikorn (Erik). I’m a lifelong TTRPG enthusiast with over 20 years of experience as both a Game Master and player. While I’m a longtime fan of Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder, I also enjoy exploring new systems and bringing fresh ideas to the table. Of the three pillars of play, I’m most passionate about roleplay and combat, blending emotional and comedic storytelling with thrilling, high-stakes encounters. My favorite games emphasize immersive roleplay and tactical combat, but I’m always happy to adjust the balance to match the comfort level and experience of my players. At my table, I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where players of all backgrounds and experience levels feel welcome. My goal is to help foster memorable moments for everyone, whether that’s laughter, tension, or the triumph of victory. Together, I want us to feel fully invested in the worlds and stories we build. LGBTQ+ safe space.

My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
D&D 5e, PF2e, and Blades in the Dark.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Passionate, charismatic, and knowledgeable.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Enjoying reading, crafts, and cooking at home with my partner and two cats. Visiting craft breweries or local coffee shops. 3D printing or painting miniatures and terrain for my home campaigns.
How Erikorn runs games
When I run games, I want players to feel like they’re stepping into a living, breathing world. Roleplay and tactical combat are my biggest passions, and I design encounters that give both equal weight. Tense battles where every choice matters, and roleplay scenes that invite players to explore who their characters really are. I like to keep sessions dynamic: sometimes fast-paced and dangerous, other times slower and more thoughtful, depending on what the story calls for. You can expect cinematic combat with real stakes, opportunities for character-driven drama, and the occasional lighthearted moment to break the tension. Most importantly, I believe a great game is one where everyone feels safe, heard, and included. My goal is always to give each player their own chance to shine while weaving their stories together into something memorable.

I prep by
A lot of google docs, notes pages, and occasionally recorded sessions for post-game notetaking. I always come prepared, but also enjoy improv when it suits the table.
Rules are...
made to be bent not broken. I run games close to 'RAW', but I'm a sucker for dramatic moments that empower players.
When it comes to voices
I love giving NPCs accents and all sorts of quirks and personalities. With me, you get variety.
Erikorn's ideal table
My ideal table is full of players who love immersing themselves in both story and strategy. Whether you’re the kind of player who thrives on in-character roleplay, or you get excited about pulling off clever tactics in combat, you’ll find a place here. The best fit are folks who enjoy collaborative storytelling, are respectful of each other’s spotlight moments, and want to invest in the shared world we’re building together. The vibe I aim for is welcoming, engaging, and cinematic. A mix of tense battles, heartfelt character moments, and occasional humor to keep things light. Everyone has a chance to shine, and the story grows richer when players bring their own ideas, personalities, and creativity to the table.

I am for a vibe that's...
Collaborative. When players create strong bonds with other PCs and NPCs, they start building their stories together and it becomes something really special.
I love it when a player
surprises me with something funny or tactically clever.
I think min/maxing...
can be a fun challenge for players and GMs, but only when tempered with roleplaying and pursuing a fun narrative. This isn't a video game, it's collaborative storytelling.
