I got started GMing...

I got started GMing as the head of a DnD 4e group where none of us knew anything. We all learned together, and I still today love teaching new players and GMs alike the rules and particulars of systems because of that being my start.

Cyberpunk Red, hands down. For rules flexibility and depth of play, there are few systems I have gelled with better than it.

When I'm not running games I'm...

I'm likely editing videos, planning RPG conventions, or gaming with friends and family. I also might be writing Cyberpunk homebrew adventures, as that has always been one of my favorite things to do.

How Emmerron runs games

I am generally pretty adaptive to what players enjoy. I do enjoy combat design quite a bit, but love allowing players space to get into roleplay if they so desire it and take the lead for a scene, or even a whole session if that is the vibe they want. I try my best to use character voices provided they don't lean into stereotype too hard. Overall, I try to tell compelling stories and push narratives with everything I do on my end, and find ways to connect to what players are doing if they take the lead in a particular way.
