About The Elder GM
Hi! I'm Eric, and I'm a Forever DM! I've been playing RPGs since 1979 and have been exclusively a Game Master for the past 25+ years. My favorite systems are the odd editions of D&D and D20 Modern. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- My virtual table will always be inclusive and open to all - including players new to RPGs! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a role-playing, "Rule of Cool" game master. If you want to do something that will make the game more exciting and fun - go for it! I also don't always follow Rules as Written if it means the table as a whole has a good time. That said, I'm not a rules lawyer and I don't expect you to be. Let's just have a good time and keep the fun flowing!

I got started GMing...
for the neighborhood kids one summer in the mid 80s. They were curious about D&D and I ran a game for about 8 of them. Three remained regular players.
People are always surprised when I tell them
That I'm a published author.
When I'm not running games I'm...
painting miniatures, building tabletop terrain, gardening, and cooking.
How The Elder GM runs games
My games focus on roleplay and storytelling over rules debates. I enjoy acting out the NPCs and monsters, and creating engaging, fun, and personal stories for the players to enjoy.
