About me

Hi there! DM Dylan here, ready to welcome you on a new, fantastic adventure! My games thrive on group creativity, participation, and going off-script and making me think on my feet. I love running games that encourage players to explore and develop their characters organically. In general, I run heavier than "rules-light" games...but, tell me what you'd like to do, and we'll find a roll for it! I also try to differentiate NPCs with in-depth personalities and an "accent" to the best of my ability. I want you to leave my sessions feeling fulfilled and ready for next week. I run both one-shots and campaigns in the Forgotten Realms and my homebrew setting (on request). So, what are you waiting for? Adventure awaits!

GM Style

I like to think of myself as a Facilitator DM rather than a Dictator DM - through modules or my personal homebrew setting, I will create the world and it is yours to play in! An ideal campaign for me includes players that are: - invested in their characters, - invested in their party, - willing to earn the spotlight as well as shine it on others, - able to/able to *learn to* use roleplay as a narrative builder as well as a character development tool, and - ready to shake off the day and have fun! In return, I provide: - time, effort, and care in the story you are helping me craft, - concern for safety in creating this TTRPG space for one another, - a story that (hopefully) will meet the needs of the campaign and each individual player, - room to grow as an in-game character as well as an out-of-game TTRPG player, and - out-of-game availability to chat, share, question, learn, and constructively criticize. All of this with varying sub-par accents that vary more in pitch than actual regionality! What more could you ask for? :)
