About Doomdecahedron
Looking for a campaign where your choices genuinely matter? Hi! I'm Michelle, a Dungeon Master with nearly a decade of experience running tabletop RPGs and over 15 years of storytelling experience. I specialize in long-term, character-driven campaigns where the world evolves alongside your characters. Whether you're saving kingdoms, uncovering ancient mysteries, negotiating with dragons, or accidentally adopting every stray NPC you meet, your decisions leave a lasting mark on the story. My longest-running home campaign has been going strong for over nine years with the same core group of players. That's the kind of experience I strive to create at every table: memorable adventures, meaningful character growth, and stories you'll still be talking about years later. My games emphasize narrative, roleplay, player agency, and immersive worldbuilding. I love weaving character backstories into the campaign, rewarding creative thinking, and making every player feel like an important part of the world. New players are always welcome—I enjoy teaching the game just as much as running it. If you're looking for a GM who prepares extensively, runs consistent long-term campaigns, and believes the best stories are the ones created together around the table, I'd love to welcome you to the adventure. Campaign portfolio: 🎭 Bardic Inspiration (Ongoing, 2 years) A roleplay-heavy campaign set in a magical bardic conservatory. Students navigate friendships, rivalries, political intrigue, and the growing darkness beyond the academy's walls while discovering who they want to become. 🐕 Pokémon Legends: Johto (Ongoing, 1 year) A story-driven Pokémon tabletop campaign inspired by The Pokémon Legends games, set in feudal Johto. Players explore ancient myths, unravel political conspiracies, build relationships with Pokémon, and shape the future of a region that has yet to become the Johto we know today. 🏰 Lost Mines of Phandelver (3 completed campaigns) The classic D&D adventure, adapted for both first-time players and experienced adventurers. My version emphasizes memorable NPCs, player choice, and character-driven storytelling while remaining approachable for newcomers. 🏡 Home campaign (Ongoing, 9 years, approaching its finale) My longest-running campaign and the foundation of my GMing philosophy. Nine years of shared adventures, impossible player decisions and a world forever changed by the people exploring it. Everything I run today, from beginner games to long-form online campaigns, has been shaped by the lessons learned around this table. 🎄 Numerous seasonal one-shots Halloween horror, Christmas adventures, beginner sessions, and experimental stories designed to explore new ideas and bring people together. In development: 🐲 Lost Mine of Phandelver: Cragmaw Goblin Edition A chaotic comedy campaign where the players are the goblins. Instead of saving Phandalin, you'll be trying to impress your bugbear boss and somehow avoid becoming dinner. 😇 Demigod campaign A demigod campaign where players discover and shape their divine heritage. 🪄 Hogwarts campaign A narrative Hogwarts campaign set centuries before Harry Potter, centered around Merlin, Morgana, and the origins of the magical world.

I became a GM because
I love storytelling. I've been writing stories from age 9, and playing games from around that same age. Hosting TTRPGS are the perfect storm of storytelling, improv, social interaction and creative worldbuilding and I cannot get enough of it!
I got started GMing...
When I was living abroad, as a way of staying in contact with dear friends. Things snowballed from there!
When I'm not running games I'm...
An office manager at a recruitment company, playing video games in my spare time, caring for my cats and going out on adventures in the woods.
How Doomdecahedron runs games
My games are built around character-driven storytelling. I believe the best adventures aren't the ones with the biggest monsters: they're the ones where your decisions change the world, your relationships with NPCs matter, and your character grows over time. Expect a healthy mix of roleplay, exploration, combat, and meaningful choices. I love weaving player backstories into the campaign, creating memorable recurring NPCs, and rewarding creative solutions over following a single "correct" path. Every table is different, and I enjoy adapting the story to the characters sitting around it. I pride myself on running consistent, long-term campaigns. My longest-running home game has been going for over nine years with the same core group of players, and I bring that same commitment to my online tables. If you're looking for a campaign where actions have lasting consequences and the story evolves alongside your character, you're in the right place. New to D&D? You're more than welcome! Whether you've never rolled a d20 before or you're a veteran looking for your next long-term adventure, I'll make sure you feel comfortable, included, and ready to jump into the story. Doomdecahedron's ideal table
My ideal players enjoy collaborating, roleplaying, and seeing their characters grow over time. You don't need to be a voice actor or an experienced roleplayer. Simply being willing to engage with the world, your fellow players, and the story is more than enough. Some of my favorite moments come from unexpected character interactions and the creative solutions players come up with together. While combat certainly has its place, my games aren't about "winning" D&D. They're about creating memorable stories. I encourage players to think outside the box, pursue their own goals, build relationships with NPCs, and make choices that feel true to their characters, even when those choices complicate the adventure. Above all, I value kindness, respect, and teamwork. Everyone deserves a chance to shine, and I love seeing players celebrate each other's victories just as much as their own. If that sounds like the kind of table you're looking for, I'd be delighted to welcome you aboard!

My table is not the place for...
A main focus on combat, dungeon crawls, or being "the strongest" player in the group. They are all valid playstyles, but if that is you, then we will not match.
