About Sprout
Hello, I am DM Sprout, but you can also call me Ben (he/him)! I am a Medical Lab Scientist with a love for tabletop games. Dungeons and Dragons has always been a hobby of mine, so I have taken to StartPlaying in order to get my fill. I have played D&D 5e for about 6 years and have become the forever DM for my groups, running about 2 years worth of campaigns and one-shots. I have run several official modules and a couple of homebrewed campaigns. Some of my favorite modules are Lost Mine of Phandelver, Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frost Maiden. I am always willing to try new modules and also have my homebrew world, Alaemede, nestled within the Womb of the Colossus. I love creating living worlds and weaving intriguing narratives that thrive on player interaction. Player involvement is as fulfilling for me as I hope playing is for you. Lastly, inclusivity is of utmost importance. No matter who you are, you are welcome at my table and all games are altered to better cater to your needs. How Sprout runs games
I aim to create a setting that allows players full control and agency. I believe that a world is only as good as the choices you can make within it. I also try to cater to each party’s preferences and attempt to be as flexible as needed to give you the best time possible. Sessions are usually 50% Roleplay, 25% Exploration, and 25% combat.
