About Mobi
Hey, I'm Mobi! I've been a Dungeon Master for over 20 years now, running all kinds of games in all kinds of systems. I've hosted everything from quick one-shots to campaigns that last for years—my longest one ran for about three and a half years straight. I love building worlds, telling stories, and watching players bring them to life in ways I never expected. I found out that working as a production manager in the film industry sharpens your skills as a Dungeon Master by honing your ability to juggle complex logistics, manage diverse personalities, and craft immersive narratives under pressure. You can expect plenty of cinematic sequences and detailed descriptions in my games, along with fleshed out npcs with their own life and agenda. At my table, everyone's welcome—no matter your background, beliefs, or experience level. The only rule is mutual respect. If you're here to have fun and treat others well, you're in the right place.

How Mobi runs games
When it comes to my Dungeon Mastering style, I'm all about roleplay and character development. For me, that's where the real magic happens—digging into who these characters are, how they grow, and how their choices shape the world around them. It's the kind of storytelling you just can’t get in any other type of game. That said, I also love mixing in big, action-packed moments and cinematic sequences. Whether it’s an epic boss battle, a daring heist, or a last-minute rescue, I aim for those "movie trailer" moments that make the table go silent or cheer out loud. It’s all about balance: deep character arcs with just the right amount of chaos and spectacle to keep things exciting. Combat is essential. But I'm more of the complex set pieces kind of DM rather than the running a ton of tiny encounters type. Expect combat to be meaningful and tense (but also know that I'm rooting for your success!)
