About Mitch
Hi there! I’ve been playing D&D and other RPG’s for about 12 years now, and ever since I’ve been able to hone my storytelling skills through these wonderful games! I have my BFA in Directing and am a National Theatre Institute alumnus and I use my training and experience in theatre to propel the games that I run and the stories I tell. I’ve had the pleasure of running a myriad of games for friends and a weekly paid one-shot series at a local game store I worked for. I cherish the chance to be a part of the stories that amazing players would help me to tell.

How Mitch runs games
My GM style is geared towards a player-centric epic/high fantasy experience. I do my best to maintain the three pillars of RPG and specifically D&D encounters being social, combat, and exploration. At my core, my strengths as a GM lie in roleplay and One-Shots. As a trained theatre professional, I bring a plethora of fleshed out characters and voices to the table as I bounce off player interaction to weave a compelling and intricate story. Playing games like D&D have allowed me to hone my improvisational skills and every game I run is inherently centered on the players decisions. I hold a reverence for the agency the players have at an RPG and lean on it to help tell the story. I am inherently collaborative in nature and it is reflective in my belief that: although the GM puts in a lot of hard work, they are a player too, telling a collective story with the rest of the table.
