About DM Dad (Kent)

Hi my name is Kent, but my friends and players call me DM Dad. I live in Oregon and I run Digital Dragon on my Discord. I've been playing D&D for 43 years. Flash forward to 2022 when I started here on SPG I've been DMing for over 36 years. I've run countless games over VTT (Fantasy grounds). I look forward to meeting you and your friends and offering a paid experience you'll soon not forget. * Some Top Reviews * Craig: - Knows the D&D rules for 5th edition - Knows the Fantasy Grounds digital table-top platform really well - Does a great job of making time for both role-playing and combat - Very flexible and adept at incorporating the creativity of the players – whether that's during character creation, or when trying something unique in combat, or even in the midst of role-playing - Builds a fun, approachable rapport with all the players - Very helpful when it comes to coaching along new players to D&D, while at the same time not slowing the pace of the game-play for the rest of the players - Adds background music to the adventure, which is fantastic! Colin: I've had the pleasure of playing in multiple sessions with DM Dad, and every game has been a blast. As someone who enjoys a combat-focused campaign, I’ve especially appreciated how well he designs his encounters — each one is thoughtfully paced, tactically engaging, and never feels like filler. You can tell he puts time and care into planning each round, making sure both challenge and fun are front and center. What really sets DM Dad apart, though, is how responsive and open he is to player feedback. He not only listens — he acts on it. That kind of collaborative spirit helps the game feel tailored, immersive, and player-driven. He brings a patient, sensible, and pragmatic approach to the table. Whether we’re diving into strategic battles or navigating the aftermath, he maintains a steady hand and always ensures that every player has room to shine. If you're looking for a DM who values player input, builds strong, satisfying combat scenarios, and keeps the game running smoothly with a calm and consistent tone, DM Dad is an excellent choice.
