About me

I've been Dungeon Mastering and playing tabletop RPGs for over twelve years now. I got my start with D&D 4th edition before moving over to 3.5 and Pathfinder. Though the last two years I've fallen in love with 5E. Beyond that, I've ran and played a number of other systems, including Shadowrun, GURPS, Star Wars Saga Edition, Mutants and Masterminds and many others. Over the years I've developed my talents and have hosted games for just about anyone that will let me. Friends, family, coworkers, game stores, and conventions. My favorite part of this hobby is all the wonderfully creative people I get to meet and share worlds with. I feel so very lucky to be a part of this community and I can't wait to see what awesome things we come up with next. I strive to cultivate a creative, collaborative atmosphere where the players feel challenged on many levels, and have the agency to fully develop their characters. And I enjoy devious plots of intrigue just as much as a hearty battle. Everyone is welcome to a seat at my table. I have one rule: Be excellent to each other.

GM style

You can expect rich narratives that are tailored to your character. Epic quests for glory, grand battles, and wide-spanning conspiracies. I tend to run RAI (Rules as Intended) versus RAW (Rules as Written). And the rule of cool is a default at my table. However, I never shy away from making my players earn victory. And pride myself on creating interesting challenges that push the party to the edge, ensuring that they'll need to work together to overcome the odds.
