GM style

Rules are important for baseline expectations, but TTRPG games are for the people playing them. I try to be flexible with rules that were made by people who are NOT playing OUR game. Everything in the game play is role play. You don't have to talk in a different voice, or speak first person as your character. YOU are playing the role of YOUR character, do that in whatever way you are comfortable. I'm not a voice actor but I try to make each NPC distinguishable. My ideal combat is on a gridded map, with the understanding that players and their characters are not limited by what is represented by the map. I encourage everyone to imagine greater than what is displayed in an image. Session Zero will be creating characters together, and discussing expectations to make sure we are all making an informed decision to participate in a shared experience. We will have safety tools, such as lines and veils, integrated into the Virtual Table Top. We will not tolerate any "isms" from players. Our games will be a safe space for everyone participating. General content warning will be provided.
