About me

Our games will be fun. I work hard to create an environment that allows us to make memorable experiences together. Ok. Love you. Bye.

GM Style

Rules are important for baseline expectations but games are for the people playing them. The rules are like water. Everything is role play. You can use the silly or serious voice, speak first person as your character, or simply narrate your characters actions and thoughts from an omniscient point of view. YOU are playing the role of YOUR character, do that in whatever way you're comfortable. I'm no voice actor but I try to make each NPC distinguishable. it's okay to laugh at me, I will laugh with you at me. I enjoy combat on a map with the understanding that players and their characters are not limited by what is represented by the map. I encourage everyone to imagine greater than what is displayed in an image. Session Zero will be collaboratively creating characters, and what has drawn them together. We discuss expectations, tone, themes, duration, frequency, and wishes. Our games will be a safe space for everyone participating. We will have safety tools, such as lines and veils, integrated into the Virtual Table Top. We will not tolerate any "isms" from players. General content warning will be provided.

In the realm of tabletop roleplaying, a skilled Dungeon Master can elevate a game from mere recreation to an unforgettable adventure. It is with great enthusiasm that I commend Casey for exemplifying the pinnacle of DM mastery. My experiences at their table have been nothing short of extraordinary, and I am delighted to share my thoughts in this review. Casey is a true artist of the craft, meticulously crafting immersive worlds that captivate the imagination. Their dedication to detail is immediately evident through their well-made, vividly colored maps that breathe life into every corner of the adventure. From sprawling cities to treacherous dungeons, each locale is brought to life with an attention to detail that is truly commendable. He even has maps to flush out areas before you get to them, like with the road leading to Bel’s Forge in Desecent into Avernus Moreover, Casey goes above and beyond by providing custom tokens for every character and NPC, ensuring that each entity is uniquely represented on the tabletop. This level of personalization speaks volumes about their commitment to storytelling and player immersion. It's evident that they invest significant time and effort into tailoring the experience to match the characters and their journey. One of Casey's most admirable qualities is their dedication to weaving player backstories seamlessly into the overarching narrative. Through thoughtful discussions during session zero, they take the time to understand each character's motivations, aspirations, and history, integrating them organically into the unfolding story. This not only enriches the gameplay experience but also fosters a deeper connection between players and their characters. In addition to their mastery of world-building and character development, Casey possesses a keen understanding of the "rule of cool," effortlessly incorporating epic moments of heroism and spectacle into the gameplay. Whether it's a daring rescue, a dramatic showdown, or a cleverly improvised solution to a problem, they have a knack for making every player feel like a legendary hero in their own right. Of course, no adventure would be complete without its share of challenges, and Casey delivers in spades. Their encounters strike the perfect balance between difficulty and reward, keeping players engaged and on their toes without feeling overwhelming. Every victory feels hard-earned, and every defeat serves as a valuable learning experience, driving the narrative forward in thrilling fashion. Finally, Casey possesses a remarkable sense of stoicism, effortlessly portraying formidable adversaries that loom large in the minds of players. Their ability to craft truly memorable villains adds a sense of gravity and urgency to the campaign, elevating the stakes to epic proportions. In conclusion, Casey is a master of their craft, delivering a gaming experience that rivals the finest productions of Critical Role and other renowned tabletop shows. Their talent for world-building, character development, and epic storytelling knows no bounds, and I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to embark on adventures under their guidance. If you're seeking a DM who can turn your tabletop dreams into reality, look no further than Casey. Your journey awaits.

I've played numerous sessions with him and i think the best thing to point out is his total flexibility and quick thinking. If you want to do something outlandish, he can roll with it. Never a railroad in sight. Touch all the cursed things.

Casey always has sessions planned and ready to go, but can always pivot to other plot points depending on players in game choices. He is welcoming and helpful in character creation making sure you are happy with choices. His games are always fun!

The quick character creation system we used for a level 0 starting adventure let's you start playing a lot sooner without getting bogged down with rules complexity. Also it's good for introducing the basic mechanics such as skill checks, attacks and non-linear problem solving before classes even get involved so that you grasp class mechanics a lot better than if you just cracked open the PHB and were told to pick a class. Fun game and a good amount of spotlight was put on each player.
