How Dice Goblin runs games
I would rank the 3 pillars of RPG systems for me in this order: 1) Roleplay, 2) Exploration, 3) Combat. I like to foster an atmosphere of collaborative storytelling that makes use of backstory elements and cares about the arcs of the characters. Within that, I shift between light and dark tone based on the session and/or system. I want everyone to be comfortable at the table, and to have a good time forming friendships and inside jokes to remember.
