Hello Everyone!! I have been playing D&D since 2018 and have been a DM since 2019. Currently DM'ing a campaign that is going on for five years. I focus on the players and the choices that their characters make. I want to create a paint by number portrait and let the characters color it in. For all the games I run I will try to make it the most impactful session for the players and their characters. Unless it is absolutely game-breaking (mechanics wise), the Rule of Cool will always be a large part of my GM style. As a famous DM says “you can certainly try”. Don’t be afraid to ask! Sometimes that turns into giving an evil Hill Giant a love potion to distract her so you place two grenades under her throne, and then whisper “shh, I’ll be right back” as you run out of the room before they explode!! I love the fantasy worlds that authors create, especially from Rothfuss, Sanderson, Tolkien (to name a few). For my homebrew world of Ferramithe, I draw on both fantasy and our real world's history. Ferramithe has strong themes from East and Southeast Asia, North Africa, and Nordic lore.
