About Michelle

I like to make my players laugh. I like them to make unexpected decisions and to be hesitant in their decisions. As a DM, I like to cause a stir of emotions from the unexpected and I want my players to enjoy roleplaying their character and with others as much as I enjoy interacting with them and the world we create together. As someone who's a busy working in the healthcare world and looking for a way to shift away from reality for a few hours, I love weaving a story or two for those looking to do the same. I started out as a player for D&D 5e 2014 a couple years ago, but decided to be a DM because I thoroughly enjoyed it and always found myself wanting to run a game for friends and others! I'm always looking to improve this craft; so if you'd like to join some escape from reality and deep dive into your character, let's go~!

How Michelle runs games

I am the type of DM that loves to integrate PC backgrounds into the game and story! I like to dive into what make the player's PC react or what would they choose given something they truly desire if the devil were to bargain with them? What happens when the past comes back to haunt them? Their choices make an impact on the story and the future NPCs as well as the party itself. I'm big on roleplaying; so I love to roleplay with the PCs as well as watch and help facilitate the interaction among players. I love watching my players come to life with their PC and enjoy the moment from light hearted to even intense moments. I am a Rule-of-Cool DM. So if there's something whacky you wanna try and you somehow convinced me, I am going to make you roll and RP for it. I always love a little bit of chaos in my sessions. I'm not big on high-stakes combat unless the party is in a part of the story which calls for it.
