Greetings, Adventurers! I'm Rick or better known in the realms as Cosmic-DM. With over 6 years of experience as both a player and Game Master in Dungeons & Dragons 5e, I bring a passion for immersive storytelling and heart-pounding tactical combat to every session. GM Style
I'm gonna be hosting one-shots as in level 20 boss fights or a homebrew campaign reaching all the way to level 20. I'm excited to host and excited for people to play. I like roleplay, I love doing character voices, I absolutely combat. The way I approach combat is very technically however I do implement the rule of cool. If something sounds cool that you wanna try let me know and I'll make you roll for it.

Playing in one of Cosmic Rick’s games felt like stepping into a world that was alive before we got there and will keep spinning after we leave. What stood out most to me was his sense of pacing. He knows exactly when to slow things down for roleplay and when to hit the gas for big, cinematic moments. Nothing ever felt rushed or dragged out—it just flowed. His narrative style invites you in and makes you care about what’s happening, whether you're in a tense standoff, solving a puzzle, or just sharing a quiet moment at a tavern. Rick has a gift for making the world respond to player choices in meaningful ways, and that kind of responsiveness makes every decision feel important. If you're looking for a DM who respects the players’ agency, knows how to keep the table engaged, and brings a world to life without overcontrolling it—this is the one. I’ll definitely be signing up for another session.

I like his DMing style. His home brew stuff was fun and I'll definitely incorporate his crit rules in my game. The way he looked at rules made a lot of logical sense and he did a good job of explaining how he reached his conclusion. Rule of Cool came up a couple times and made for an epic session. 10 out of 10 would play again

I had a blast playing in one of Cosmic Rick’s games. He was so prepared, knew the rules and seemed primarily interested in his players having a fun time, which we all did. I’ll also say that his rulings were extremely fair and logical. I definitely recommend Cosmic Rick as a DM and I look forward to playing with him again.

Rick was a chill game master who worked collaboratively with the players and helped in clarifying anything we had questions about. We played a high level boss fight and he was incredibly patient while we juggled all the bits of information you get at level 20 that we were not used to as most campaigns end long before that. Overall I would recommend Rick whether you're just starting out or have experience playing already
