About Connie Burk
Connie has run delightful tabletop games since 2019 when she started her first campaign around the kitchen table with family and friends. Inspired by Critical Role and Dimension 20, she strives to capture the magic of her favorite fantasy games and novels and share that with awesome players — especially those new to the hobby! In her free time, Connie enjoys playing video games, reading amateur writing, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, crochet, costuming, and cosplay.

When I'm not running games I'm...
playing video games, reading transformative works written by amateur writers, painting, crocheting, sewing, cosplaying, cooking, baking, and doting on my cat.
How Connie Burk runs games
Connie puts player experience first. She is happy to adjust the difficulty and pacing on the fly to keep things entertaining. She's very careful about fairness and game balance; she avoids game-breaking items and homebrew. She tends to follow the flow of the players if they want more combat or role play based on how much they seem to be enjoying themselves. She likes to keep the game table a safe space with periodic comfort checks, especially when things get intense.

When it comes to voices
I'm terrible. I can mimic an accent fairly well if I just heard it, but ask me to perform an accent from memory and I flub it every time. Feel free to laugh at my terrible voices.

I think min/maxing...
can be fun if that's what you enjoy, but I think for most players the game is more enjoyable if you worry less about the numbers. I once played a fairy barbarian who fought with brass knuckles. Optimal build? Not at all. Did I have a good time? Absolutely I did!
