About me
I started up my own D&D 5e group in December of 2018, my Sophomore year of highschool. From then on, I have been the DM for just about every game I've been in, with the exception of a few one-shots. While many use "forever DM" as a bad term, I most often prefer to be the DM. Around 2020 I also got into Pathfinder 1e, and have played that consistently as well. I am very newbie friendly, as i have taught at least 10 different people how to play already throughout my games. As the DM it is my job to make sure my players are having fun. The session 0 is to make sure there are no topics present in the game that overstep these boundaries and stop you from having fun. I love homebrew, and most my campaigns are heavy in it, but I also am more than happy with vanilla.
GM Style
I love roleplay and find that roleplay moments are the best moments, but no game is complete without thrilling combats. I try to avoid pointless combat that feels like fluff, but if a group loves to fight and finds it interesting then I am more than happy to create battlegrounds. When I play I do my best with voices, and even go as far as to use voice mods. I like to have NPCs interact with characters in a way that makes it feel like they exist, and aren't just in the background. When it comes to combat, I do my best to make sure it doesn't take too long and avoid combat if it isn't needed, but I also like to reward creative play. I follow the rule of cool and will happily change small details for an action that sounds awesome.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Voices
Storytelling
Cole is perfect for beginners and is extremely patient with them as well. I should know, I’ve never played before and this is my first time playing. Cole allows us to get creative and helps us along our journey. Our party consists of four newbies, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. He sets the mood with music and the maps and visual aids he has is spot on.
An amazing writer, he writes a lot of fun story plots that enhance the game experience and imaginative imagery without confining the game to an extremely linear plot. There’s room for creativity, fun side adventures, and exploration on all sides, and he does a phenomenal job integrating personal character plots and backstories into the game. I had/have a lot of fun with him as my DM :D
