About Miguel
Hello! I'm Miguel, I'm a 25 year old psychology student from Spain, i've also lived in Costa Rica and Venezuela for several years and studied in british schools my whole life. I'm neurodivergent myself, a musician, an artist. I've always been a fan of all things fantasy and storytelling as a whole, and had always been curious about ttrpgs, and I finally managed to get into DnD during the pandemic in 2020, I've been a DM ever since! I started out as a DM for a small group of friends with Curse of Strahd, really not the best choice for a beginner but we had fun and it taught me a lot. I eventually got to work on a homebrew world, which is where most of the games i run take place! My core philosophy when running games is that one must never lose sight that the story, ultimately, is about the characters, and so i try to make my games as fun and dramatic as possible, by centering the characters and their decisions and interactions with the world. At the end of the day i want to give my players the best, most emotional, and memorable stories they can ask for, and honor the characters they create as well as i can. So i try to tailor the experience at the table to be inclusive and satisfying at every turn, for the players and the characters This is a safe space for all minorities, and hate and harasment of any kind will not be toletared!

How Miguel runs games
- Games are roleplay, drama, and exploration heavy - Players can expect a lot of rule of cool and homebrewed rulings to accomodate for their characters to be played and depicted as they intend - Stories and arcs will be centered around the characters my players provide, and the world will be reactive to the decisions you make _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My favorite parts of any story are character development and meaningful character interactions, so i try to accomodate for that in my games and allow my players to take their their character arc in whatever direction they think will be fun for them, and the rest of the players at the table. I'm not particularly strict with the established rules of a system, and will lean on homebrew when needed, i prioritize the wants of my players, and the pacing and feel of the story over following the ruleset of any specific system, and will bend it to allow for whatever feels plausible and satisfying in a story. My players can expect rulings to be made on the fly, to maintain the flow of drama and tension in any scene, and allow for the comfort and fun for everyone involved. Last but definitely not least, none of my games ever contain any amount of homophobia or transphobia, and any mistreatment of any marginalized communities, fictional or otherwise, that is portrayed in the games i run is always meant to be treated as villanous, and meant to allow the players to fight against those injustices, and ultimately make a difference against them. I do not allow any discrimination or mistreatment of others
