About Robert
I'm a passionate enthusiast of tabletop gaming and all the storytelling it can produce by bringing together people from different walks of life. I've been playing D&D and other tabletop systems since 2020, which has granted me the privilege to explore stories of high fantasy, sci-fi horror, eldritch westerns, and many more. As a GM, I love taking inspiration from the media I enjoy, such as movies, comics, video games, books, etc., and finding an engaging way to implement core mechanics into tabletop by finding supplements from amazing creators for an established system or finding entirely new systems to try! With that goal in mind, I've run entire campaigns based on franchises such as Bioshock, Monster Hunter, Prey, and Hunt: Showdown. I am excited to explore even more stories of courageous heroes, thrilling adventures, and world-shattering villains.

How Robert runs games
My personal GM style leans towards intense combats that must be overcome as a unit, but I love creating memorable moments of roleplay in between. My NPCs will be there to support the narrative, whether it's as world-shaking villains, bumbling good-hearted artisans, or disheartened citizens. Regardless, they will be there to motivate the players either through fear, sympathy, or courage. As for combat, I love the thrilling cinematic moments of natural 20s on both sides. The monster shatters the fighter's shield arm, and the fighter responds by shoving a shard of the shield into the monster's eye! My battles are often uphill, but the reward shall be all the grander.
Robert's ideal table
My favorite part of RPGs is the ability to bring together a group of people who grow and learn together to become a powerful ensemble. That's why I encourage roleplay and combat equally, as long as the party actively does their part to include the others, whether that is supporting one another through mechanics or narrative. My players should be legendary, and to become a legend is to recognize those who stand by your side, no matter the odds.
