"Hello my dear adventurers, and welcome to Kwingo's Kabin. Please, have a seat, warm yourself by the fire, and take the weight of your boots. Now, whilst you're here, please, sample my wares, and hopefully I can borrow your ears. I have a few stories and tales to tell" Hellooo!! I'm Andy, a Nottingham based DnDer. I have been GMing for close to 7 years if not longer, and have been playing DnD and roleplaying games since secondary school (that was when I was 2 and I'm now 36 so... oh god..) A bit about me I'm a massive nerd! Games tester for a living, games and DnD are intertwined into my life in more ways than I can fathom. From running games for the past 3 plus years with my regular team, to hosting one shot adventures with colleagues at work, through to running games for charity events, DnD is in my blood through and through and I live and love it. Mainlky focusing on fantasy DnD style adventures, I have also dabbled in Sea of Thieves, Star Wars and Root, and looking to build up my knowledge of other systems, meet more like minded people, and share my stories with some of you amazing folk!

When I was around 12 years old, running a very hap hazard tweaked version of "DnD" meets redwall (being an avid fan myself haha) - it was a lot of fun and I remember my friends enjoying it - from then on I was rather hooked!
My favorite books are
The redwall series by Brian Jacques - I must have read the entire series three times if not more. I love the way he writes things, and goes into so much depth and detail to set the scene. Sometimes not even setting the scene, just describing a food dish or the wather that day! Truly magical
People are always surprised when I tell them
I'm actually a massive gym bro as well haha. I hit the gym 3 times a week, and I'm always trying to push myself as much as I can. Deadlifts are the big thing at the moment. Hoping to smash some PBs this year!
How Kwingo's Kabin runs games
In terms of the kind of things you can expect from my games, expect whimsy and nonsense, but at the same time, purposeful and to the point. I LOVE using accents, dialects, and languages for races, as well as trying to incorporate real world things into my worlds, but twisting them somewhat (santa claus, but a corrupt villain that has an army of slave elves? Sure! BArry white as an odebian that runs on a deep south like barge in space? Why not!) I love creating individual stoylines for characters that ark into a major event / overarching story. I love engaging with individual characters, developing their characters and their story. Whilst I have a lot of knowledge, I like the players to determine the direction in which stories go. Most of my sessions are done over discord alongside olwbear rodeo, with maps and tokens and playlists for sounds, as well as me voicing all the characters and accents. I like to do in person BIG events (taking on larger baddies and such) and like to award players via the milestone system rather than XP based. So yeah, looking forward to sharing adventures with people!
