About Jaclyn

I am a first responder who likes to escape reality and have fun. Most of my campaigns and fun and whimsical in nature, but still challenging for the players. I have ran multiple one shots themed around the holidays as well as longer campaigns. My last campaign was level 10-20. The party had to collect a unique array of swords and use them to fight the bad guys and stop a ritual from summoning an unborn god. I like to play with the rule of cool and lots of different tables to put everything back into the hands of the players. I may have an overall theme, but the rest is up to the party.

How Jaclyn runs games

I prefer to create campaigns that are combat heavy with enough roleplay throughout to keep it interesting. I like the element of mystery and suspension to be throughout the campaign. I play off the backstory that the characters create to give them buy in to what is going on and raise the stakes. I am very adaptable to what the party wants and am willing to work with the group of players to create something that everyone has fun playing. I don't have a lot of hard lines that I don't want crossed, but I am very open to what the party is comfortable with. I have ran several campaigns that are suitable for kids to learn to play in a safe environment. One of my favorites took place in the candy cane forest where they had to destroy the machine that was taking away kids happiness. I enjoy magical items and tailoring them to the campaign with unique properties.

My table is a mix of experienced and new players. I like to come up with things on the fly. You will fit at my table as long as you bring a sense of humor and a love for rolling the dice. I like to put a lot of the decisions back on the players to make it more fun.
