About P.J.
My name is Peachy Sobczak, but you can call me PJ or Peach. I’ve been playing Dungeons and Dragons since I was eight years old, when my parents taught me second edition. I have been playing 5th edition since middle school. I’ve made and played dozens of characters in my life, and I’ve DMed half a dozen campaigns and at least as many one-shots. I generally homebrew settings but am not averse to premade modules. As a DM, I pride myself on creativity, game knowledge, and fostering a welcoming space for my players. In my opinion, it is a dungeon master’s job to make sure that everybody at the table is engaged and having a good time.

How P.J. runs games
My campaigns usually put a focus on characters and roleplay, but I definitely enjoy complex fights and battle strategy as well, so you can expect a mix of both. I try to tailor the experience to what my players want, with some tables preferring more combat, and some preferring more roleplay. In either situation, I try to include narrative hooks and mystery to keep the players wanting to move forward. I enjoy exploring the worlds I’ve made, and seeing what parts of them players are interested in, and using that to guide what the world looks like. My favorite moments as a DM are when a player asks a question about the world, and I have to come up with an answer on the spot that will have major ramifications going forward.
P.J.'s ideal table
I try to make my table as inclusive as possible, and I can accommodate a wide variety of play styles. Players will get the most fun if they are willing to engage in the world, not just put a pre built character in with no thought of how it fits.

I love it when a player
asks dumb questions about how the world works so I have to improvise physics
