About Braden
Hi! TTRPGs have a special place in my heart, as creating stories with my friends has become something truly magical. So much so, in fact, that I am considering it as a career! I want to build skills relating to writing, acting, voice acting, scheduling, and storytelling, hence why I am here :) I am 18 years old and based in Iowa, and I feel as if StartPlaying could be something that can help me prepare for college in the fall. Despite being a cishet white man, most of my tables in the past have been mostly women / queer people, so acceptance, community, and safety are a priority. I look forward to meeting new people and creating new experiences!

How Braden runs games
The games I have usually run are a somewhat balanced mix of roleplay and combat, with a slight leaning towards the former. My rule of thumb is to keep my tables people and player centered, and to try my best to make sure people feel like they matter in or out of the game. I'm very willing to bend rules or adjust things for a better table experience, which is in addition to my homebrew settings. My sessions typically are around 3ish hours, but no later than 4. Usually there is one combat encounter per session with some slight variance. I usually run fantasy, sci fi, horror, and/or comedic campaigns, but I am always ready to learn and put new genres under my belt. If you think this is a good fit for you, let me know!
