About Zero
HI, I'm Zero. I've been a DM for over 15 years, almost exclusively with new players and have become, in my humble opinion, quite good at it. I'd like to offer that experience to other people who wish to enter the wonderful world of D&D but aren't sure where or how to start. My tables are safe, inclusive, and supportive. Mistakes are learning opportunities for all involved and ensure that no matter how quiet someone may be, their voice is always heard and their character brought to life. I design easy to manage session from character conception and creation, lore-friendly builds, and a chance to test your new character while learning the basics of gameplay, in a low-pressure environment. Whether you've never rolled a dice or just want to feel confident at the table, let's journey together into the rich world of dnd, as I guide you along a fun, immersive, and unforgettable experience.

I became a GM because
A group of friends and I wanted to start playing but as new players we couldn't find a GM to teach us how to play.
People are always surprised when I tell them
D&D is easy to learn, you just need the right GM.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Playing them, writing them, watching them.
How Zero runs games
I specialise in guiding new players in Dungeons & Dragons. I run beginner-friendly short campaigns designed to take you from character conception and creation to a fully fledged roleplaying hero, confident in both mechanical understanding and lore that pertains to your character. My personal DM style focuses on lore-rich worlds with meaningful stakes, interpersonal relationships with characters and NPC's alike. Where every action has a consequence, while balancing challenge with support. I highly encourage roleplay, creativity between players and DM, while gently guiding players to understand mechanics and table etiquette. No question is ever stupid, no mistake ridiculed, some even become house rules. Expect a safe, inclusive, and fun table, with moments of laughter, of tears, of intrigue, emotional stakes, and magical surprises. Enter into a shared theatre of the mind as we delve into the unforgettable world of D&D.

I once ran a session...
And the players spent two hours making breakfast. One the best sessions I've ever ran. They ended up with the chunkiest honey coated burnt sausage sandwiches the world has ever seen.
My favorite trope is...
Long hidden secrets that are revealed in spectacular fashion and right at the very end of a session.
Rules are...
Necessary but should never get in the way of a innovative plan. Follow most, bend some, break others.
Zero's ideal table
Filled with excited new players ready to embrace the challenges of being a new player. Nervous maybe, quite perhaps, but eagerly willing to learn and bring their character to life while the world around them tries to end it.
