About Antonio

Hello! I have been DM/GM/STing for roughly 30 years mostly focusing on Fantasy and Horror games (or a mixture of the two). I have also spent a lot of time researching history and particupate in Historical fencing and have been doing that for roughly the same amount of time. I believe in stories and making certain everyone in the game is having fun!

My favorite shows/movies are

I am very big on intellectual horror; think The 9th Gate, Pans Labyrinth, and Midsommer. I also have enjoyed historical movies and literature (Pride and Prejudice is a guilty pleasure.). When it comes to Television, however, I lean into shows like Fringe, the X-Files and Evil.

People are always surprised when I tell them

...That I have over 15 years of experience with actually fighting with Swords. I teach historical fencing, and do research on historical time periods; a form of experimental Archeology

How Antonio runs games

I am a firm beleiver in story. The Characters are the fundimental part of the story, each action they do shifts the ongoing story and adjusts to them. They are the heroes in a larger world trying to make their way. I believe in the rule of cool, in character developement and explorer a greater world (Both street level and globel level). I love role playing. I love characters that have a reason for what they are doing, and I encourage folks to make a background, a personality and to ask questions--in the game and of their characters.
