About Sachspie
I’m passionate about collaborative storytelling and have been playing TTRPGs for years, with a main focus on 5e. While most of my experience is in-person, I’m quick to adapt to online play. A favorite memory is using D&D as a teaching tool while homeschooling my kids. Together, we built worlds, explored civilizations, and connected real-world subjects like science, politics, and writing to our adventures. Through roleplay, they learned about governments, economies, and even wrote essays from the perspectives of their characters. It wasn’t the whole curriculum, but it made learning creative and fun.

My favorite books are
usually in a series because a book is never enough to immerse yourself in. I started reading DragonLance, which brought me to the Death Gate Cycle, and I loved waiting for the next book in the Wheel of Time series. I love the Cosmere, The Wandering Inn. I just love the whole idea of storytelling.
When I'm not running games I'm...
being a mom, playing video games, or working in social services. My life is pretty fulfilling, but I see a little too much reality during the day, so my entertainment needs to be fantasy or sci-fi to take a break from it.
How Sachspie runs games
I am passionate about welcoming new players and creating a space where everyone feels comfortable exploring the world of tabletop roleplaying. My approach is collaborative—I see myself as a guide, not a god. My goal is to build a story together, letting your choices shape the adventure while ensuring everyone is having fun in a safe, inclusive environment. Every campaign begins with a Session 0, where we discuss expectations, boundaries, and table preferences. I have my own preferences, but as long as your choices align with the community Code of Conduct, I encourage group input and let the table decide most matters. Your voices matter here. Non-Negotiable Rules: - No metaplaying: Please keep in-character and out-of-character knowledge separate. - No bigotry: Racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia will not be tolerated. - Consent always matters: Safety and comfort are top priorities for everyone at the table.

I prep by
I prep by knowing my players. Session 0 is so important. Each session is prepped with care—maps, story hooks, and flexible plans—so your choices shape the adventure. I’m ready for surprises and love adapting to my players.
Rules are...
Rules are the foundation to a good game, but the house is more than just a foundation. I believe the rules should support our fun and storytelling, not get in the way. I use the official rules, but open to homebrew. I encourage questions and curiosity.
Sachspie's ideal table
My table is all about creativity, collaboration, and fun. I encourage outside-the-box problem solving and love when players surprise me with imaginative solutions. We don’t take ourselves too seriously—laughter, good times, and shared stories are the focus, while serious drama is optional and never forced. I welcome new players and strive to make everyone comfortable, no matter your experience level. If you’re new to TTRPGs, I’m happy to guide you, answer questions, and help you learn as you play. The general vibe is friendly, supportive, and open-minded. Teamwork, curiosity, and respect are valued here. If you enjoy a relaxed environment where creativity is celebrated and everyone’s voice matters, you’ll fit right in at my table!

I think metagaming...
is counterproductive. I prefer players stay in character and avoid metagaming. Making decisions based on what your character knows, not player knowledge, keeps the story immersive and fun for everyone at the table.
