About Carlos
I’m an artist with a passion for storytelling and visual expression. This creative journey began in 2010. Before diving into visual art, I studied performing arts at the Young Americans College of Performing Arts I had the incredible opportunity to travel to over 7 different countries, including Germany, Latvia, Switzerland, Lithuania, Poland, and more as a performer and instructor. In 2023 I attended my first Renaissance Festival and was immediately hooked! I enjoyed the atmosphere, shows, markets and the role playing of characters. At one of these events, they were hosting a dungeons and dragons booth. I was introduced to the game and have not stopped since. I enjoy the creativity that goes into tabletop and want to provide the same experience I had by gathering other like-minded people together to have a great time conquering adventures together. I currently am an ambassador for a local store and run games monthly.

I deal with rules issues by listening to the group, discussing the options, and making a fair ruling so we can keep the adventure moving.
I prep by
I prep by reviewing modules/adventures, characters, monsters and lore behind the story. I prepare possible encounters and scenarios. I practice voices and view the state of the game and how the characters are influencing that world.
When it comes to voices
I enjoy creating unique voices for the adventures. I research the characters/monsters to get an idea of what they may sound like. I usually rehearse all the voices before games because I enjoy the performing aspect. Expect lots of voices and unique dialogs and interactions.
Carlos's ideal table
I create a welcoming environment for new and experienced players. If you enjoy role playing your character throughout adventures and interacting with NPC's and monsters along with tactical combat you will enjoy the games. Combat-Medium Role Playing-Medium Puzzles- Low

I think it's a red flag when players disrespect others, make the game uncomfortable for their fellow adventurers, or refuse to work as a team. D&D is about creating a great experience together, and everyone deserves a seat at the table where they feel welcome and respected.
I think metagaming...
I think metagaming becomes a problem when players use knowledge their characters wouldn't have to gain an unfair advantage. I encourage creative thinking and teamwork, but I also want players to stay true to their characters and let the story unfold naturally.
