About Xavier Frost

I’ve been GMing since the early 90s — long enough to see tabletop RPGs evolve through entire eras of design, community, and storytelling. I run games with a cinematic tone, fast improvisation, and a narrative focus where your characters drive the story, not just the dice. I believe the best moments at the table come from collaboration, bold choices, and “yes, and…” energy. My players usually describe my games as: high-energy and character-centered emotionally rich but incredibly fun exploratory with real impact the kind of table where every decision matters I’ve run campaigns that lasted 3–4 years, as well as countless short adventures and one-shots. On top of that, I’m a teacher and educator, which means I’m extremely comfortable guiding new players, walking people through unfamiliar systems, and creating a welcoming, structured table where everyone feels confident and included. Systems I’ve run extensively: AD&D D&D 3.5 D&D 5E Einsol’s Razor (my own cyber-fantasy TTRPG, developed over the last 5 years) Experience includes: Long-term campaigns spanning years High-intensity story arcs Character-driven mystery and intrigue Tactical set pieces and cinematic action Teaching brand new players from the ground up

I became a GM because

I became a GM because I love building worlds where players feel like their choices matter. Storytelling has always been my creative backbone, and running games lets me share that passion directly with a table—guiding players through tension, triumph, chaos, and unexpected moments.

How Xavier Frost runs games

My games are cinematic, collaborative, and deeply character-driven. I run with a strong “yes-and” philosophy, blending high-energy improvisation with emotional storytelling. I focus on player agency, world exploration, and narrative consequences—your choices genuinely matter in shaping the direction of the story. I’m patient, welcoming, and experienced at teaching new players. Whether you love dramatic character moments, exploring strange worlds, or discovering who your hero really is, my table is built for players who want to create unforgettable stories together.
