About Miles

Hey there! I’m Miles, a longtime D&D enthusiast with about 8 years of adventuring under my belt and 2 years behind the DM screen. I’ve run everything from one-shots inspired by Candlekeep Mysteries and Keys from the Golden Vault to longer, story-rich campaigns like The Wild Beyond the Witchlight. I also love mixing things up with a bit of homebrew, adding unexpected twists and personal flair to keep every table feeling fresh. Whether you’re here for epic stories, clever heists, or a little magical chaos, I’ve got you covered. New players are always welcome at my table. I enjoy teaching the rules in a clear, supportive way while keeping the game moving and engaging. Expect collaborative storytelling, character-driven moments, and the occasional bit of delightful chaos that keeps every session exciting and unpredictable.

How Miles runs games

At my table, you can expect just chaos to keep everyone on their toes. I love silly voices and giving players plenty of space to try creative (and occasionally unhinged) ideas. Combat is intentionally challenging in order to encourage strategical thinking or exploration of non-combat solutions to encounters. Connected to this, I like to give players the space to talk to NPCs and explore the world. When it comes to rules, I see them as a helpful framework rather than an unbreakable law. I aim to play fair and consistent, but I’m usually happy to bend a rule if it leads to a cooler moment or a better story. I’m especially friendly to new players and happy to explain rules as we go, so no one feels lost or left behind. Above all, my goal is to create a table where everyone feels comfortable, included, and excited to play this wonderful game!

Miles's ideal table

I like to keep games about fun and escapism, but there's always room for the occasional heartfelt character moment amid the laughs.

I love it when a player

comes up with a plan that is equally genius and insane (the dice will decide which it is).
