I've been DMing for close to 12 years for friends and family. I love DnD and the world building aspect of a campaign. I also really enjoy story telling and bringing fantasy characters to life in a world that is full of wonder and excitement.

I became a GM because
I love playing, creating characters. Creating a world where people can explore and have fun living in. I enjoy spending time with friends in a fantasy world we all help to create.
How Shark runs games
I love theater of the mind. While having physical pieces and maps can indeed enhance an experience, being able to imagine and improve your way through a campaign allows for much more creativity and fun in my opinion. I try to get my players to feel what its like to be in their players shoes. I encourage them to act as if they were their character and give them scenarios in which improvisational skills can flourish.

Improv and laughter. Having a good time is the most important thing to me and a fantasy world provides many ways for that to happen.
Rules are...
A way to make the game more fun. They are not necessary all the time. I prefer dealing with things on a case by case basis and focusing on what is realistic to the world and what allows the players to have the most fun.
Shark's ideal table
Players who really enjoy improv acting and imagination. Having fun and laughing as the game unfolds with new and unexpected twists and turns. I also enjoy players who find interesting reasons to stick with the party.
