About Mo
Hello, My name is Mo, I'm 23 and I've been very passionate and medieval things and fantasy/wizards for a long time. when I discovered D&D in 2019 I was immediately hooked. Loving every moment of of it. I spent every week creating my multi-verse and my homebrew version of the game. I am deeply passionate about the arts and I have great people's skills because it was required for my past jobs. I know basic graphic design and been on Roll20 for years now. My D&D philosophy is all about giving players the most choices possible, making them heros in a world that hates them. with me there isn't winning or losing. there is only having fun!

I became a GM because
I saw the idea of D&D in the media and references to it on the internet. I knew a friend who played D&D and I asked them to run a game for me and help me get into it. after they ran a game. I realised with my knowledge of graphic design that if I ran this, I could do it much better!

When I'm not running games I'm...
I love creativity in general. I either draw. play videogames (indie mostly!) and write stories. I also write appendix mechanics for the game to potentially one day post on DM's Guild one day
How Mo runs games
My games are largely faithful to the original rules of D&D, however I heavily prefer giving players more options where there is none in the game. Such as the ability to gain weapon and Armor proficiency if your character does not have it. The games I play are usually in the same Dynamic, large harsh world that is filled with combat at increasing difficulty, in-between moments to appreciate each other's characters and the NPCs stories. some of my games have even settlement management systems, and ones for upgrading tools and crafting! it's all about giving players the most choice they can get while keeping the game fun and engaging.

I prep by
writing a lot! making maps, considering players backstories, usually writing at least 3 interactions. maybe items depending on the situation. getting inspired and listening to the music that's based on the vibe of the session
My games focus on...
Open world adventure with a grand over arching story but the exploration is the main aspect
Rules are...
Important to get everyone on the same page. but flexible for fun.
Mo's ideal table
My table style is friendly fun vibe. story focus. somewhat serious. somewhat joke. mostly serious into the world but it's mostly focused on the joy of the game. They are open world sandboxes with an over arching story but exploration and upgrading and combat are constituent theme
