Hi I am Daniel a Retired Army 19D1P. I have been running TTRPGs since I was in high school for about 25 years. On 2 different deployments I have run RPGs. I have also run games for the wounded warrior project. I have run games and had several game groups, both online and in person. My groups have been soldiers and civilians as a group, or mixed.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...
My players say Honest, Witty, Meticulous.
My favorite shows/movies are
Untouchables, Equilibrium, Outlaw Star.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Looking for other games to run. Setting up house rules for games I have. Working on making my own RPG and boardgame.
How Daniel runs games
While I enjoy a lot of rules crunch to keep the game grounded, I also like minds eye theater for combat. I want the players to think outside the box with the tools they have. I run two forms of game. Railroad- Scenario based games. Center location- All players start each session from a center point. My games are open roll and I don't fudge to help or hinder the players. Roleplaying is important part of the game and the NPCs will behave like people.

My games focus on...
The story and how the players interact and change it.
Rules are...
Fair and impartial. They are refined for the experience.
When it comes to voices
Ill do my best. But for the most part i explain what sounds of the area and persons are.
Daniel's ideal table
Players talk and are jovial at all times. All types of players are accepted at the table. The vibe will be shifting to follow the flow of what is happening in the game as well as following the core theme of the game. If you like a challenge and unique game rules. Even unique games. Then your welcome to join. I don't balance encounters, the story is always first.

I think min/maxing...
Is great. Have fun with the mechanics. Games are meant to be fun.
I love it when a player
Comes of with something creative.
I think metagaming...
a disappointing way to play a story. Which will be held up and pointed out as a bad way to enjoy the game.
