About Derek
Hi there! I am fairly recent to the TTRPG scene (almost 2 years now!) and got started by GMing a campaign for close friends. After my second home-brewed campaign, I decided to play on the other side of the table as a PC. My love and passion for creating stories and universes was too great, though. I constantly found myself wanting to create some epic adventure where I get to watch and help others play in it. This is how I ended up here and hope to share this passion by creating fun and lasting moments.

How Derek runs games
GMing is about creating the most fun for everyone in every game. I specifically try to bring that fun by personalizing the story to each player as much as possible. During our adventure, I lean heavily into roleplaying, and encourage that be brought into the epic battles that are encountered. My goal for each session is to leave feeling fully immersed in the playground that we created together.
