About Vistan

I played roleplaying games for a long long time :) I have been playing a lot of DND on Startplaying and DM'ing for friends and family. I enjoy writing and creating stories that are exciting and provide unique adventures. I am very laid back and like to run a table with a good mix of roleplaying and combat. I enjoy teaching new players how to play and use a VTT as well as playing with seasoned players as there is always something to learn from the people you play with.

How Vistan runs games

I offer a laid back table for new players to learn the game. I am always happy to jump on a chat and walk players through any questions they may have before the game and help with tech setup, the VTT we will be using and character creation. My adventures are a good mix or roleplaying and combat. I try and pick loot and rewards that will be fun for the characters and that they can bring with them in to my other adventures.

Vistan's ideal table

I really enjoy a mix of experienced and new players at my table, especially my one shots. I like to run a relaxed table where people aren't afraid to ask questions and learn as they go. The best way to learn is by playing. I do like to have a one off meeting with new players in my discord to show them how the VTT works and answer any questions before their first game so they are more confident at game time and reduce downtime during the game.
