About Çanpai
My name is Çağan. I am majoring in linguistics at Hacettepe University, Türkiye. I've been a Game Master since high school and I am one of the 5 administrators at our university club called HUBKFT (Hacettepe University Science-Fiction and Fantasy Club). We've been hosting HUCON, the biggest TTRPG convention in Türkiye. I have GM'ed almost hundreds of different university students through HUCON and our club. I am also a GM on "Gri Şehir Hikayeleri" in Türkiye for a year, a non-profit collection of GMs working to make TTRPG accessible in Türkiye, organizing one-shot events every month. I have played one shots with people from all ages, genders and experience- I trust in my ability to teach different systems and match with different player styles.

How Çanpai runs games
I LOVE roleplaying as silly, whimsical and chaotic creatures. Such as goblins, kobolds or some shady merchants with screechy voices. Other than that i enjoy encounters with lots of crazy puzzles and traps. Rather than a big epic fight with a Dragon (which i also love because who doesn't, my prefferences are different) I love getting in my players heads, and making them suspicious of every step they take!.. I also love fitting in some one-shot quests between sessions after a big story event or a tiresome fight just to take a break. In the end the reason i have becoma a Game Master isn't just to tell stories that i wrote. It is to escape from the real life's worries and stress in our own magical realm with my players. Im also really confident on my skills so i usually let my players do crazy builds. In the end i find making my players and their enemies stronger more fun rather than restricting their creativity with low effort boundries.
