OLÉ! I DON'T CREATE THE GAME, YOU WILL! I am a 25 years experience DM. I've got 25 years in different improvisation team (not the American style of Improv, nothing wrong with that just not the same)Like most of us my first rpg was DnD second advanced edition, after that I discovered vampire the masquerade, star wars, legend of fives rings, shadowrun, Numenera, The riddle of steel, Fireborn, Scion, Deviant (Mature content),AvatarRPG,Ragnarock, Warhammer 40K, Call of Cthulhu, Quin, Marvel Multiverse, and i probably forgot a couple that I try but not mastered. I'm French Canadian (I know we are the worst, deal with it). I consider myself fluid in English but not a perfect bilingual so I will probably offer discount to play with English people. I always do a session 0 to learn what my players want, what style, which game, what is your background, what are you're expectation for the game? you're character? the story? The GM?Only then will I create the game and the story. I pride myself to be capable of creating game,where even when the character do something that goes against the game or the plot,it will seems seamless in the story, like it was always the plan (trust me it rarely be) I like when gamer give me hint to what they expect, what they wish to see. How Lefoubrack runs games
I am a storyteller above all, but I don't want to be put in a box, so I always try something different, to reinvented myself, I know a lot of different system and I try to mix the expectation that come with a system/World. I never do the same game again, I prefer to create a game that deal with the consequence of the first. I will often use inside that I'm the only one to know vis-a-vis (i'm french) previous game, be it a place, a character, an event. Always with a little difference. I don't create game then find players, I find players and then i create a game with their background and expectation.
