About Like

I have been both playing TTRPGs and GMing for about 5 years now. I have always been fascinated in telling stories, and not only a flat dimensional story like a book or movie, but a constantly evolving one. I started out with D&D, but I am hoping to branch out to even more than I already have, because there are so many ways to live different fantasies.

How Like runs games

Personally, I have heavy roleplay in my story. I usually have a pretty set world in mind while playing, and I drive a pretty linear story. That does not mean however that players have no choices, for instance Baulders Gate is a linear story, yet there are major decisions players make in the game, and I try to run my games the same. As previously stated, I am very roleplay and story heavy, but I don't fully throw out combat. I try to never go 2 sessions without a combat encounter, and with those combat encounters, I try to make them as thrilling as possible. Its not just a random pack of rats, but a major fight with a necromancy warlock. I want for each fight to matter, thus my games also tend to run on the difficult side. I am not slaughter happy, however as a warning, if I have a campaign that goes from level 1-10, usually 0-2 characters will die (2 MAX,) however I make sure that their story is fully fulfilled before they perish. As a whole, my style of games tend to be full of excitement to keep players intrigued, and to keep the game fun for everyone who is playing.
