About Chris
Hail and well met! My name is Chris! I've been a lover of fantasy and gaming since I was a kid. I'm currently a high school teacher of English, history, and psychology. I love watching a story come together and watching a party be creative and build synergy and power throughout a narrative. Beyond games and stories, I love travel, music (playing and listening), the outdoors (biking, kayaking, skiing), and reading (history, culture, religion, and philosophy).

How Chris runs games
I see the GM's most important job as providing a platform and scenario in which players can shine and tell their own story and then facilitating their storytelling through the ruleset of the game they are playing. A good session should include lots of player interaction, fair challenges, surprises, plausibility, and a balance of story, setting, exploration, social interaction, and tactical battle. All players should be included, and scenarios should be created such that all characters can shine and--across a broad time frame--have an opportunity to use all of their toolset to impact the game meaningfully.

I think it's a red flag when players...
monopolize the spotlight.
