About Jeffrey Arrington
I am a registered nurse by day and a d&d enthusiast by night! I believe autonomy, the right of people to make their own decisions, and I apply that both to my clinical practice and to the games of d&d that I run.

How Jeffrey Arrington runs games
Rule of cool with an emphasis on teaching on the fly. As long as players are having fun, that is the most important thing to me. I am a big fan of tactical players and run a lot of tactical encounters, but I am also a big fan of role-playing and so any given session that I run, I try to include at least one opportunity for role-playing and at least one opportunity for tactical combat, often more than one of each. I am perfectly okay with being challenged on rulings or decisions that I've made if the player can present a compelling argument for why something should work differently than the way I think they should. I believe it is okay to look up the rules for a spell or an action or an ability in the middle of a game, but I don't believe a game should be derailed because of rules. More often than not, if the players are doing something fun and interesting for them. I don't enforce the rules as written, but rather provide opportunities for players to do cool things. I am very proficient in running Low-Level campaigns with low-level characters and teaching new players, the fundamentals of d&d 5e.
