About Michael
I started playing DnD back in 2017 and started with very 3.5. For the past 6 to 12 months, I have been playing 5th edition at an organised DnD event. I only play fortnightly as that's all I can afford at present. I haven't been a DM in 5th edition as yet but I am planning to DM a session or two at the organised event. In regards to 3.5 edition, I have ran a few smaller campaigns over a period of 6 months around 2018 and have designed my own larger campaign. I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills in DMing and think this platform will be a great stepping stone to make that happen. I am not really interested in any online gaming as I prefer to be on venue for the physical rolling of dice with people around. If you would like more details please let me know and I'll provide you with the details. In case you have trouble finding my details, you can contact me on zhetto2011@yahoo.com.au Thank you for your time. Regards, Michael O'Sullivan

I became a GM because
I get as much enjoyment watching my players having fun. I am also looking at ways to keep the players thinking with heaps of hidden things to stumble upon.
My favorite system of all Time is
Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 as it was the first system I played. I love all the character options as well as the range of skills that you can choose.
When I'm not running games I'm...
I love playing DnD but in my spare time, I'm writing several books ranging from a small Novella to a full sized book. I also love playing games on a console or my mobile phone.
How Michael runs games
My style of running a game is, more or less controlled by the players. If they prefer less roleplaying and more action then I accommodate them. If they prefer the opposite, I will do my best to fulfil the party’s need. After all, it's their game. I'm just running it for them.

I deal with rules issues by...
If you have any issues with a rule or, more to the point, my rulings, discuss your side as I'm willing to hear your thoughts. If your reasoning is sound, I could even change my rulings. Don't be afraid to question what I do.
Rules are...
The DnD rules, for me, are only a guide. It allows for a more flexible game and hence more fun and dynamic.
When it comes to voices
I don't do voices as I don't really know how. If my players want to use them, by all means, just don’t expect me to. Lol
Michael 's ideal table
I like everyone to simply have fun and not be afraid to ask questions about things they are not sure about. I love when my players throw curve balls making me change my plans.

I love it when a player
Players that do things totally unexpected are the best kind of player. They really keep things interesting and often make me change my storyline. This keeps me busy and on my toes.
I think metagaming...
Meragaming is really hard not to do but, as a DM, I try to keep the players informed independently. If some party members are in a different area, I can do a written note for the players who are in that area.
My perfect party mix is
I love a range of players and characters as it makes it easier to throw anything into the game. Having this range allows for every situation to be covered, one way or another.
