About Christian
What's up homies, hope you're doing well. Bigtime nerd here trying to run some great games for likeminded folks. As a GM, I love the immersive and improvisational storytelling that comes with TTRPGs. I love crafting and running worlds that players are excited to explore. I love fueling player creativity and helping them live out their character fantasy to its fullest. I love fun combat with an emphasis on tactics and teamwork. Most of all, I love running games! Generally, I'm a chill dude. Friendly and open-minded to all. My games are judgement-free zones and I like to make sure everyone is comfortable at my table. I’m like running D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e, and all levels of experience are welcome.

People are always surprised when I tell them
I was born without a sense of smell. Unfortunately, this means I generally don't include scent-based descriptions to scenes because I have no experience with any scents, good or bad. It's a blessing and a curse, honestly.
How Christian runs games
• Collaborative Storytelling and Improvisation: In my opinion, the defining aspect of TTRPGs is the storytelling we all partake in. I thrive in the moments when players take the story in unexpected directions. For that reason, while I still prepare a great deal and always have a plan in place, said plans are always very flexible. • Power Fantasy and Rule of Cool: I love to feed into the power fantasy of the systems I run. If you want to do something a little wild to truly play out your character, I'll be equally excited to see how it plays out. However, sometimes the dice don’t roll in your favor, so keep in mind that failures can often be even greater catalysts for story than successes! • Engaging Combats: I am a sucker for a good combat. While I don’t tend to run extremely combat-heavy games, I do make combat a regular occurrence. I like to build interesting combats that encourage tactics and teamwork, which is why I also always use battlemaps for combats. • Roleplay and Humor: Roleplay is always encouraged but never demanded at my tables. Everyone is free to enjoy the game at whatever level of immersion you prefer. I personally like to roleplay NPCs and love a good in-game dialogue, even if it’s a dialogue I’m not taking part in. Additionally, I tend to have a lighthearted and humorous approach to moment-to-moment gameplay. I do still enjoy injecting a good dose of mystery, grittiness, and horror into my games where appropriate though.
Christian's ideal table
My ideal table consists of a group that takes the game, story, and characters seriously, but that isn't afraid to let some lighthearted fun shine through. A table where the players are willing to be as much a part of the storytelling process as the DM, even when failure or the unexpected strikes. A table willing to take on combat challenges with a bit of tactics. Most of all, a table at which everyone feels comfortable playing.

I love it when a player
Does something that they know is probably a bad idea, but that their character would 100% do. Nothing I love more than seeing a character really come to life like that. Always fun.
