About Quacks
Hello, my name's Jeremy. I am a life long nerd and gamer who has recently found himself hosting a daggerheart campaign for friends. We're 32 sessions in and still going strong! I have played some games through startplaying and had a great time, and I would like to take the next step and start hosting daggerheart games in my homebrew I've been working on. Over the course of the last year I've gotten really comfy with the daggerheart system and really started to hone my improvisational skills due to my tables whacky yet awesome ideas. My main focus, is to create a great experience for my players, and yes and as many of their cool ideas as the dice allows.

My favorite system of all Time is
Daggerheart. I really like the D12 hope and fear system. Also the simplification of many mechanics made it much easier for someone like me to get into it.
How Quacks runs games
My GM style is pretty straight forward. I always have a camera on my dice. I like my combats to be challenging but rewarding. I am currently running a sandbox style campaign, so players have the freedom to do and act as they please, and let the dice decide the outcomes. When I prep, I dont prep in a way that railroads you, I instead try to fill up the world with as many interesting characters and events that are happening in the background regardless of the if the players interact with it or not. I try to create a living breathing world that reacts to the players and their choices. I might dangle some shinies in front and you and see if you bite but generally I try to see what catches the PC's attention and notice what elements of the story the latch onto and roll with those.
Quacks's ideal table
Looking for people that like to joke and laugh and have a good time. All playstyles are welcome, whether you are a min maxing power gamer, an explorer, or a socializer, there's a spot at my table for you! The coolest part about daggerheart imo is the collective storytelling. Here's a link to a cool article about different playstyles. https://shop-dnd.com/different-types-of-dnd-players/

I love it when a player
comes up with a creative solution to a problem that I hadn't thought of. My players never cease to amaze me.
